Senior Center Report
The Senior Center has been extremely busy over the past month. The Senior
Center has hosted 2 defensive driving classes (55 people), a flu shot clinic (137
people), and a Saturday Night Thanksgiving Meal (30 people) in the last month.
Registrations and daily activities continue to increase in numbers. Listed belmv
are the averages tbr each daily activity for the months of October and early
November. Approximately 967 and 456 (as of l 1/16/99) visits were recorded tbr
the months of October and September.

Bridge - 36 people
Men's Club- 11 men
Foot Care Clinic - 4 people w/a 4 max.
Woodcarving - 9 people
Card Club - 30 people
Art Club - 3 people
Stamping Club - 18 people
Women's Club - 20 women
CHAN-o-laires - 21 people
Book Club - 7 people
Bingo - 23 people
Bowling - 8 people
Free Movie Day - 12 people
Trips - Upcomiug trips include; "Annual Holiday Show" at the Chanhassen
Dinner Theatres on 12/08/99 and the Senior Center Annual Holiday Social at the
Recreation Center on 12/04/99.
Special Programs - A luncheon and card party with Westview Acres of Waconia
is being planned for the month of January 2000. A pre-departure meeting is being
held on Tuesday, January 27d from 9:00am - 10:00am for all seniors registered
for the February 22, 2000 Hawaii trip.
Miscellaneous - The CHAN-o-laires will be singing at TARGET Senior Days on
Tuesday, December 7'~' from 9:00am - 10:00am. The floor stripping in the Senior
Center will be repaired by Hiller Commercial Floors for a cost of $207.00.
