SUBJ: Design Guidelines for Multi -Family Residential Developments
Based on the slide show of design features that we reviewed at our July 6rh
meeting, I will be incorporating your ideas into new design standards for multi-
family projects. These standards would apply cit side and not just the Bluff Creek
Lowlands (2005 MUSA area). Currently the City's design standards are for
Commercial and Industrial and Office uses. I think that a set of guidelines for the
multi -family projects seems like the next level of assurance to get the quality of
design the commission is expecting.
I am planning on bringing a draft of the standards to the August 17`" Planning
Commission meeting. After you have an opportunity to review these standards I
will schedule a public hearing. Following is a summary of your comments from
the meeting on the July 6`"
