We continue to accept new participants and have organized new programs to help attract additional participants. The Oktoberfest Party was attended by 55 people and our annual Holiday Party had 75 people attending. The Flu Shot Clinic this year gave 162 shots. The new Senior Center allows us to have bigger events hosted here opposed to using the Recreation Center. Rental inquires and rentals have also increased. i i" The Woodcarvers are working on another new and wonderful project for the Senior Center. .. that being a carved totem poll, which will feature the state of Minnesota symbols. Stop in and see this beautiful work in progress. The Senior Center continues to work with the Chaska & Parks Recreation Department and the Eden Prairie Senior Center to support and create new opportunities for area seniors. I have meet with management of the new Summerwood Apartments and Centennial Hills to invite and inform them of our activities/programs. We have also partnered with local elementary schools for intergenerational programs for seniors.
