Re: Retaining wall design for CVS Phannacy.
Gentlemen:
The "wire basket" retaining wall concept, proposed by "Structures Hardscape
Specialists" (see concept submitted 4/1/05 by Jeremey Banken), wìll be acceptable to
the city with the following provisions:
1) The wall must be located as shown on the approved civil drawings (any
proposed deviation must be requested by subrnitt4'1g revised civil drawings and
allowing (or review by the Engineering and. Plamiìrtg Departments).
2) The wall design must bf< stamped and signed by a strucÜ1J:'¡!l engineer and
approved by the design: pr()f~ssiona.l for CVS Pha.nnacy.
3) Due to this wall's non-typical stÍ1.1cture, the wall must inspected by the design
engineer (or by a. qualified inspector designated by him) during its
construction. A final report froni the design engineer, approving the structllre
wìll be required (final approvaJofthe building will also depend ònthís report).
