AND LOCATED AT 6780 YUMA DRIVE. APPLICANT: CROSSTOWN BUILDERS, INC.
OWNER: DANIEL & SUSAN DEGOLIER, PLANNING CASE 2014-19.
Bob Generous presented the staff report on this item explaining staff was recommending denial of the
variance request but provided an alternative for a front yard setback variance. Commissioner Weick
asked if the alternative with the front yard setback included a 3 car garage and if the applicant would need
permission to cut down the tree if they went with that option. Chairman Aller asked for clarification
between Options 2 and 3 before opening the public hearing. Mike with Crosstown Builders explained
that there were more trees involved than just the one oak, and that the applicant would be comfortable
with their original request or moving the garage forward. The applicant, Dan Degolier stated after
conferring with his wife they would be comfortable with moving the garage forward. Sue Degolier,
explained that the reason for the 3 car garage addition was to turn their tuck under garage into a family
