This program has been such a success that it will continue in the fall quarter. The Teen Explorers enjoyed making new friends while participating in various summer adventures and the Buddies had a great time meeting the Teen Explorers. One of the Buddies described this opportunity as, "...a fun way to meet new people and volunteer. It does not feel like volunteering at all. I am there just having fun with everyone else!" If you are a teen interested in a unique volunteer opportunity and want to give back to your community this fall contact Kirsten at 952- 988 -5321. You will be signing up to "Be a Buddy" to a teen with a disability enrolled in a REACH recreation program. The goal is to have fun, make new friends, and be a part of new inclusion experience.
