CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #2006 -24
ABRA AUTO BODY AND GLASS
1. Permit. Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, the City of Chanhassen
hereby grants a conditional use permit for the following use:
A major auto repair and body shop
2. Property. The permit is for property situated in the City of Chanhassen, Carver County,
Minnesota, and legally described as follows:
Lot 1, Block 1, Chan Haven Plaza 3d Addition
3. Conditions. The permit is issued for a major auto repair and body shop, subject to the
following conditions:
a. The development shall comply with the site plan requirements approved as part of
Planning Case #06 -24.
b. No unlicensed or inoperable vehicles shall be stored on premises except in appropriately
designed and screened storage areas.
c. The drop -off location for damaged vehicles will be limited to the parking stalls in the
southwest corner of the lot behind the evergreens.
d. All repair, assembly, disassembly and maintenance of vehicles shall occur within closed
building except minor maintenance including, but not limited to, tire inflation, adding oil
and wiper replacement.
e. No exterior public address system is permitted.
f. No sales, storage or display of used automobiles or other vehicles such as motorcycles,
snowmobiles, or all- terrain vehicles.
g. Disposal of vehicle fluids shall comply with Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
regulations.
h. Facilities for the collection of waste oil must be provided.
4. Termination of Permit. The City may revoke the permit following a public hearing for
violation of the terms of this permit.
5. Lapse. If within one year of the issuance of this permit the authorized construction has
not been substantially completed or the use commenced, this permit shall lapse, unless an extension
is granted in accordance with the Chanhassen Zoning Ordinance.
6. Criminal Penalty. Violation of the terms of this conditional use permit is a criminal
misdemeanor.
