The 33d annual Easter Egg Candy Hunt was held on Saturday, March 26 at City

All participants received a candy bag with a door prize ticket stapled to it and

some small prizes. Kids were divided into three age groups for the candy hunt: 4

and under, 5-8, and 9-12. Each age group had its own designated area for hunting

candy, which created an environment that was safe for all participants.

Upon completion of the candy hunt, all participants gathered for the door prize

part of the event for many participants.

Like all community events, volunteers were vital to the Easter Egg Candy Hunt's

success. The Chanhassen High School Key Club and members of the Chanhassen

Fire Department were a tremendous help with clean up, candy distribution, and

wearing the bunny costume. Volunteers from New Horizon Academy and Park

Dental assisted with day of registration. Volunteers truly make the community
events special for everyone.
