CC Staff Report 06-13-2016Aanenson, Kate From: Laufenburger, Denny Sent: Monday, June 13, 2016 3:49 PM To: Gerhardt, Todd; Aanenson, Kate Subject: Fwd: Yosemite Holding For the record Denny Laufenburger Mayor, Chanhassen 612-327-6800 Sent via Phone Begin forwarded message: From: Kevin McCourt <kevin.mccourt12@email.com> Date: June 13, 2016 at 3:28:48 PM CDT To: <council(@ci.chanhassen.mn.us> Subject: Yosemite Holding My first concern is why the flyer was not distributed to the cul du sacs off of Yosemite/Apple, these homeowners will be impacted also. The only way I found out about this was the flyer was on the ground and I have a habit of picking up garbage on my daily walk with my dog. I understand progress but the developer does not need to remove 200+ trees, this removal is just to make their job easier. I think they can add the 12 houses without removing so many trees, I am against this project based on removing so many trees. They did this across the street and it looks terrible, I know they will probably add trees before completion but nothing like the trees they removed. Thank you, Kevin McCourt 1570 Creek Run Trail Phone Call from Catherine Lam (6401 Yosemite) to Kate Aanenson Lake Lucy Road Proposed Subdivision — Planning Case 2016-09 June 13, 2016 • Against the subdivision • Too many houses in a small area — too congested • Will make Lake Lucy Road too busy • With 4 people per household it adds to the congestion • Fertilized lawns will affect water quality of wetlands and ponds • Economy is slowing down — if houses don't get built the area will become a wasteland Aanenson, Kate From: Laufenburger, Denny Sent: Monday, June 13, 2016 3:49 PM To: Gerhardt, Todd; Aanenson, Kate Subject: Fwd: Yosemite Holding For the record Denny Laufenburger Mayor, Chanhassen 612-327-6800 Sent via Phone Begin forwarded message: From: Kevin McCourt <kevin.mccourt12@email.com> Date: June 13, 2016 at 3:28:48 PM CDT To: <council(@ci.chanhassen.mn.us> Subject: Yosemite Holding My first concern is why the flyer was not distributed to the cul du sacs off of Yosemite/Apple, these homeowners will be impacted also.
