PROPOSAL The applicant plans to expand their building on Lot 1, Block 1 across the public D &U easement onto Outlot A. However, the City does not allow structures to be built across public easements, so the applicant is requesting vacation of the public drainage and utility easement. The City does not plan to construct utilities at this location in the foreseeable future. The storm sewer and water main owned and maintained by the property owner will be removed as part of their Site Plan. Staff recommends granting the vacation with the condition that the vacation resolution shall be recorded prior to but concurrent with the recording of the Final Plat and Site Plan Agreement for Audubon Corporate Center 2nd Addition.
