During the Public hearing in Dec 2017 regarding the Paisley Park PUD Case #2017-22 1 presented the following question, concerns, and requests/recommendations: QUESTIONS 1) Per the City Council recommendation if the temporary request is granted to sell alcoholic beverages will the occupancy size be restricted to 500 maximum? 2) What type(s) of alcohol will be sold? 3) Does Paisley Park / Prince's estate currently have liability insurance with coverage which would cover an incident of a person becoming intoxicated at Paisley Park, driving drunk, and having an accident/incident resulting in damages or loss of life? CONCERNS & REQUESTS 1) CONCERN: If the catering company does not have licensed bartenders the catering staff may improperly mix drinks which would increase the chance of intoxication of the attendees. REQUEST: If the temporary selling of alcoholic beverages is approved I request it be limited to only beer and wine to reduce the risk of liability to Prince's estate. 2) CONCERN: The Paisley Park representative stated at the December 2017 public hearing, during the corporate events at Paisley Park during Super Bowl week the following: • The attendees will only access the facility through the secondary merchandise entrance area • The attendees will not be given tours and will be restricted to only the NPG Music Club room and the Sound Stage areas • All artifacts will be removed from the NPG Music Club room and the Sound Stage areas • Attendees will not be allowed to access any other parts of the facility/museum REQUEST: If the temporary selling of alcoholic beverages is approved I request additional Paisley Park security be placed at the following internal entrance doorways during the entire time of the corporate event because these doorways are not usually covered by Paisley Park Security during after hours events to reduce risk of attendees accessing the museum/artifacts areas: • Internal doorway between Merchandise area and Prince Timeline hallway • Internal doorway between NPG Music Club room and Sound Stage area • Internal doorway between Sound Stage area and $100,000 Piano room • Internal stairs leading upstair from NPG Music Club room to Upstairs Green Room Areas • Internal doorways between NPG Music Club room and Kitchen area 3)CONCERN: The Paisley Park representative stated at the Dec 2017 public hearing the corporate event is planned to be from 9:OOPM CST to 1:OOAM CST and want to sell alcohol during that entire period: REQUEST: If the temporary selling of alcoholic beverages is approved I request the sale of the alcohol is limited from 9:OOPM CST to I I:OOPM CST to allow time for attendees to have a lower amount of alcohol in their system when vacating Paisley Park after the corporate event. As a long time friend of Prince I requesting his practice of no alcohol sales at Paisley Park be permitted due to the risk of liability and safety. Thank you for addressing my concerns. Thanks Vera Morgan 952-451-7197
