Re: Paisley Park Parking Lot Improvement
Dear Ms. Pratt:
The City Council gave PUD approval for Paisley Park Museum in October 24, 2016. The approval
included constructing an access road from the south entrance to the site to the north parking lot. At
the time of the approval, the City allowed the access road be constructed to a temporary condition to
allow the Museum to open in a timely manner with the understanding the access road would be
improved to City standards in the future. The temporary road is currently in poor condition and
heavy emergency vehicles may have problems driving on it in its current condition.
The City is requesting the access road be improved at this time. This will required a permit from the
City and Watershed District. The City requests the improvements be made by June 29, 2018. No
future permits will be considered until the access road is improved.
