ACTIVITIES WILL CEASE FOR AT LEAST 14 DAYS. TEMPORARY STOCKPILES WITHOUT
SIGNIFICANT SILT, CLAY OR ORGANIC COMPONENTS (E.G. CLEAN AGGREGATE
STOCKPILES, DEMOLITION CONCRETE STOCKPILES, SAND STOCKPILES) AND THE
CONSTRUCTED BASE COMPONENTS OF ROADS, PARKING LOTS AND SIMILAR SURFACES
ARE EXEMPT FROM THIS REQUIREMENT.
3. THE PERMITTEE(S) MUST STABILIZE THE NORMAL WETTED PERIMETER OF ANY TEMPOARY
OR PERMANENT DRAINAGE DITCH OR SWALE THAT DRAINS WATER FROM ANY PORTION
OF THE CONSTRUCTION SITE, OR DIVERTS WATER AROUND THE SITE, WITHIN 200 LINEAL
FEET FROM THE PROPERTY EDGE, OR FROM A POINT OF DISCHARGE INTO ANY SURFACE
WATER. STABILIZATION OF THE LAST 200 LINEAL FEET MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 24
HOURS AFTER CONNECTING TO A SURFACE WATER.
SEDIMENT CONTROL PRACTICES - PART IV.0
1. THE PERMITTEE(S) MUST EMPLOY SEDIMENT CONTROL PRACTICES AS NECESSARY TO
MINIMIZE SEDIMENT FROM ENTERING SURFACE WATERS, INCLUDING CURB AND GUTTER
SYSTEMS AND STORM SEWER INLETS.
2. SEDIMENT CONTROL PRACTICES MUST BE ESTABLISHED ON ALL DOWN GRADIENT

PROJECT HAS UNDERGONE FINAL STABILIZATION, AND AN NOT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO
THE MPCA.
4. ALL INFILTRATION AREAS MUST BE INSPECTED TO ENSURE THAT NO SEDIMENT FROM
ONGOING CONSTRUTION ACTIVITY IS REACHING THE INFILTRATION AREA. ALL
INFILTRATION AREAS MUST BE INSPECTED TO ENSURE THAT EQUIPMENT IS NOT BEING
DRIVEN ACROSS THE INFILTRATION AREA.
POLLUTION PREVENTION MANAGEMENT - PART IVF
THE PERMITTEE(S) SHALL IMPLEMENT THE FOLLOWING POLLUTION PREVENTION MANAGEMENT
MEASURES ON THE SITE:
1. ALL SOLID WASTE (COLLECTED SEDIMENT, ASPHALT AND CONCRETE, FLOATING DEBRIS,
PAPER, PLASTIC, CONSTRUCTION DEMOLIION AND OTHER WASTES) MUST BE DISPOSED
OF PROPERTY AND COMPLY WITH MPCA DISPOSAL REQUIREMENTS.
2. ALL HAZARDOUS MATERIALS (OIL, GASOLINE, PAINT AND ANY HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES)
MUST BE PROPERLY STORED TO PREVENT SPILLS, LEAKS OR OTHER DISCHARGE.
RESTRICTED ACCESS TO STORAGE AREAS MUST BE PROVIDED TO RPEVENT VANDALISM.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL OF HAZARDOUS WASTE MUST BE IN COMPLIANCE WITHMPCA
REGULATIONS.
3. CONCRETE AND OTHER WASHOUTS: THE PERMITTEE(S) MUST PROVIDE EFFECTIVE
CONTAINMENT FOR ALL LIQUID AND SOLID WASTES GENERATED BY WASHOUT
OPERATIONS. THE LIQUID AND SOLID WASHOUT WASTES MUST NOT CONTACT THE
GROUND, AND THE CONTAINMENT MUST BE DESIGNED SO THAT IT DOES NOT RESULT IN
RUNOFF FROM THE WASHOUT OPERATIONS AREA. LIQUID AND SOLID WASTES MUST BE
DISPOSED OF PROPERLY AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH MPCA RULES. A SIGN MUST BE
INSTALLED ADJACENT TO THE WASHOUT FACILITY THAT REQUIRES SITE PERSONNEL TO
UTILIZE THE PROPER FACILITIES FOR DISPOSAL OF CONCRETE AND OTHER WASHOUT
WASTES.
FINAL STABILIZATION - PART IV.G
THE CONTRACTOR MUST ENSURE FINAL STABILIZATION OF THE SITE ACCORDING WITH THE
DEFINITIONS IN THE NPDES GENERAL PERMIT PART IV.G. THE CONTRACTOR MUST SUBMIT A
NOTICE OF TERMINATION (NOT) WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER FINAL STABILIZATION IS COMPLETE OR
WITHIN 7 DAYS AFTER SELLING THE SITE OR PORTION OF THE SITE TO ANOTHER PARTY. A
COPY OF THIS NOT / PERMIT MODIFICATION FORM MUST GO TO THE NEW OWNER. THE
ORIGINAL / CURRENT OWNER MUST PROVIDE A SWPPP TO THE NEW OWHTER THAT
SPECIFICALLY ADDRESSES ANY REMAINING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY.
