MINNESOTA 55317 CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COLI-NTIES, MINNESOTA FINDINGS OF FACT AI\D DECISION (DENIAL) IN RE: Application of The City of Chanhassen to amend the Chanhassen Retail Center Planned Unit Development. On Septernber 4,2018, the Chanhassen Planning Commission met at its regularly scheduled meeting to consider the application of Target for a Planned Unit Development Amendment. The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the proposed application preceded by published and mailed notice. The Planning Commission heard testimony from all interested persons wishing to speak and recommended approval of the proposed amendment. On September 24,2018, the Chanhassen City Council met at its regularly scheduled meeting to consider the applicant of Target for a Planned Unit Development Amendment and now makes the following: FINDINGS OF FACT 1. The property is currently zoned Planned Unit Development District. 2. The property is guided by the Land Use Plan for Commercial. 3. The legal description of the property is: Lot 1, Block 1 and Outlot A, Chanhassen Retail Addition; Outlot A, Chanhassen Retail2d Addition; Lots l-3, Chanhassen Retail 3d Addition; Lots l-2, Block 3, Burdick Park Addition; and, Lot 1, Block l, Chanhassen Retail4s Addition. 4. The proposed amendment to the PUD is not consistent with the guidelines outlined within the comprehensive plan. 5. The planning report #2018-15, dated September 4,2018, prepared by MacKenzie Walters is incorporated herein. DECISION The Chanhassen city council denies the chanhassen Retail Center Planned Unit Development Amendment 2018-15.
