FW Avienda - Sanitary Sewer Approval PlansJoseph and Steven, The City would like to schedule a meeting for next week to discuss concerns we have with the sanitary sewer design and possible adjustments. A few of the major concerns we identified for discussion are as follows: 1) Overall depth of the sanitary main and possible alternatives such as relocation of the main to minimize depth or use of a lift station. 2) Location of the sanitary main within Bluff Creek Blvd with respect to considering maintenance (short and long term). Please factor in recommendations from MnDOT’s Utility Accommodation and Coordination Manual. 3) The size of the sanitary sewer mains. The City requests submission of engineering calculations used to determine the sizing of the mains to insure oversized mains at minimum grade are provided. If you haven’t already reviewed the sanitary sewer chapter in the 2040 comprehensive plan – please factor it into the design.
