Re: Planning Case #10-10, Auto Sales
Mr.Pietig:
The City of Chanhassen recognizes that the auto sale use of your property, 615 Flying Cloud Drive, is currently discontinued. Per City Code, Section 20-236, “if the conditional use is
discontinued for six months, the conditional use permit shall become void.” The City understands the difficulties facing business in regards to the construction on County Road 61/Flying
Cloud Drive. Due to the construction, the City will not be scheduling CUP compliance inspections for your property until after completion of the road construction. Once construction
is completed, the property will have six months to continue the auto sale use on the property or the conditional use permit will become void.
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I can be reached by phone at 952-227-1132 or by email at dingvalson@ci.chanhassen.mn.us.
Sincerely,
