NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLANNING CASE NO. 2020-15
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Chanhassen Planning Commission will hold a
public hearing on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in
Chanhassen City Hall, 7700 Market Blvd. The purpose of this hearing is to consider an appeal
of the city's denial of an Encroachment Agreement for retaining walls within Drainage and
Utility Easements and variances from the city's prohibition on locating structures within
Drainage and Utility Easements for a property located at 6893 Highover Drive. Zoned Single-
Family Residential District (RSF). Property Owner: Joan Synstelien/Larry Synstelien.
A plan showing the location of the proposal is available for public review on the city’s
web site at www.ci.chanhassen.mn.us/2020-15 or at City Hall during regular business hours.
All interested persons are invited to attend this public hearing and express their opinions with
respect to this proposal.
