Dear Mr. and Ms. Papke:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that due to the complexities of the site and the need to
solicit and incorporate comments from multiple partner agencies, the City will be unable to
complete our review of your variance request within 60 days of the original submittal (received
August 6, 2021). We are, therefore, notifying you that the City will be taking up to an additional
60 days, as allowed by Minnesota Statute § 15.99, subdivision 3(f),to complete the review. This
will extend the review period to December 4, 2021.
It is the City's intention to have the variance request go before the Planning Commission for a
public hearing on October 19, 2021 with the item going before the City Council for a final
determination, should this prove necessary, on either November 8th or 22nd
