As a follow up to meeting back in July where we discussed the transmission line in Chaska, which crosses a small part of
Chanhassen - I guess we need a letter from Chanhassen telling the MN PUC that you are ok from with Chaska being the
RGU for the environmental review for this project.
I have attached a summary of the project and also a draft letter that states that Chanhassen is ok with Chaska being the
RGU for the environmental review.

Todd & Kate,
The City of Chaska (via Xcel Energy) is proposing to construct a 115kv transmission facility along the south
side of Lyman Boulevard from Audubon Road up to the Twin Cities and Western RR and then west along
the southside of the RR right-of-way to a new substation located in the Chaska Industrial Park. As the
connection point to the power line is located within the City of Chanhassen (SE corner of Audubon &
Lyman), we wanted to come over and brief you regarding the project. I have attached to this email a "Fact
Sheet" regarding the proposal.
If you could forward over to us sometimes that you could meet the week of July 10th, it would be
appreciated.
