NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLANNING CASE NO. 2021-16
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Chanhassen Planning Commission will hold a
public hearing on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in
Chanhassen City Hall, 7700 Market Blvd. The purpose of this hearing is to consider a request
for a variance to allow construction of an accessory dwelling unit within an existing single-
family residence on property located at 1800 Lake Lucy Road. Zoned Rural Residential (RR).
Applicant: Merle and Diane Steinkraus / Property Owner: Jason and Tara Steinkraus.
Project documents for this request are available for public review on the city’s website at
www.ci.chanhassen.mn.us/2021-16 or at City Hall during regular business hours. All interested
persons are invited to attend this public hearing and express their opinions with respect to this
proposal.
