The New River Valley Industrial building will be supplied by the 250,000 gallon
water tank that is existing and supplies the other building as well. The capacity of
the tank is no issue. There is a existing well and pump that supplies the tank to guarantee
that the tank stays at the proper level at all times.
A new 8" (minimum) underground watermain will be ran to Stoughton Avenue and
around the existing building to the new building and terminate in a new pump room
Located in the new building.
Fire hydrants will be located per the city's Fire Departments requirements.
The new Fire Protection System will be designed per the IFC,IBC, and NFPA13
Codes that the city has currently adopted.
