Request for Variances, Planning Case No. 2022-05
Dear Mr. Campion:
This letter is to confirm that on April 19, 2022, the Chanhassen Planning Commission, acting as
the Board of Appeals and Adjustments, approved a variance to permit the construction of a six-
foot privacy fence within the front yard setback along Erie Avenue, subject to the following
conditions:
1. A zoning permit must be obtained before beginning any construction
2. The location of the fence must be as shown on the survey submitted to the City on
March 17, 2022 as part of variance application, Planning Case No. 2022-05
Please be aware that approval of a variance is not approval to begin demolition,
construction, or grading activities and that permits are required before engaging in any of
