Re: Eidsness Certificate of Survey
Dear Mr. Otto:
Staff has reviewed the documents which were submitted for the above-referenced project.
Based on this review, the submittal is incomplete and cannot be scheduled for public
review. The City Code allows metes and bounds subdivision if resulting lots meet the
minimum requirements of the zoning ordinance and abut a street. The resulting Lot A
will not front on a street. In order for the City to accept it as a public street, it will have
to be improved (i.e. constructed in conjunction with the metes and bounds split). In order
for the city to review the public street, we will require construction plans. These plans
shall include grading, drainage area plans, drainage calculation, utilities, contours for the
existing site and surrounding properties, existing structures, tree survey, site coverage
calculations, building setbacks, bluffs, wetlands, etc. You also need to submit an
application with fees.
Once you have submitted the required information, we will schedule this item for City
Council review; meanwhile, I am returning the plans. If you have any questions or need
