CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #05-30
1. Permit. Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, the City of Chanhassen
hereby grants a conditional use permit for the following use:
An Electric Substation and a 10-foot wall in an Industrial Office Park District.
2. Property. The permit is for property situated in the City of Chanhassen, Carver County,
Minnesota, and legally described as follows:
See Attached Exhibit A.
3. Conditions. The permit is issued for the construction of an Electric Substation and a
lO-foot wall as shown on the plans dated received September 2 and November 30,2005 with
the following condition:
a. A security fence as specified in the National Electric Safety Code shall
surround the Distribution and Underground Electric Distribution Substations.
4. Termination of Permit. The City may revoke the permit following a public hearing for
violation of the terms of this permit.
5. Lapse. If within one year of the issuance of this permit the authorized construction has
not been substantially completed or the use commenced, this permit shall lapse, unless an extension
is granted in accordance with the Chanhassen Zoning Ordinance.
6. Criminal Penalty. Violation of the terms of this conditional use permit is a criminal
misdemeanor.

That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 115 North,
Range 23 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 3;
thence on an assumed bearing of South 88 degrees 52 minutes 27 seconds East
along the north line of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 2286.69 feet; thence
South 01 degree 21 minutes 25 seconds West a distance of 195.90 feet to the point
of beginning of the land to be described; thence South 52 degrees 44 minutes 44
seconds West a distance of 412.15 feet; thence South 34 degrees 48 minutes 12
seconds East to the intersection with the westerly line of the parcel conveyed to
