Last week local youth were anticipating the likely opening of the skate park.
?
This week it is back to winter. This is the most March snow we have
received since 1989.
?
Staff is prepared to wrap up a majority of our 2005 projects by the third
week in May.
?
Staff is putting the final touches on our 2006 construction and project
schedule.
?
Local trail users were out in force over the past two weeks.
?
Watch for significant construction activity in the area of Power Hill Park.
?
Jerry is participating in the hiring of a new District 112 Community
Education Director.
?
The discussion over future schools in the community is heating up.
?
The review processes for subdivisions in the 2005 MUSA area are
progressing nicely.
?
The new Chanhassen “short course” is scheduled to open this spring.
?
No new news on the Off-Leash Dog Area.

The senior wood carvers celebrated their 14 year with a cake and coffee
social.
?
Staff is planning for a new trail connection from Knob Hill Lane to Curry
Farms Park.
?
The 2006 edition of the park and trail map is scheduled for print in May.
