Box 147 Chanhassen, MN 55317 RE: Livable Communities Local Housing Incentives Account Application - Gateway Place Dear Mayor Furlong: On December 7, the Metropolitan Council approved grants to local units of government to support affordable housing development and preservation. These grants are funded through the Council's Livable Communities Local Housing Incentives Account. We are pleased to inform you that the city ofChanhassen has been awarded a grant of $300,000 to support the Gateway Place housing development. This grant is one of six the Council approved in the final LCA funding cycle of 2005. The Metropolitan Council is pleased to work with local communities through theLivable Communities programs.
