That is a good point. I spoke with Kate and we agreed your request was reasonable. However, in lieu of the sign, the public
hearing notification area will be expanded a little to ensure notice is mailed to all properties on Homestead Lane, Flintlock Trail
and West 9Sth Street, as well as the other properties within 500 feet of your property boundary.
With that, the outstanding fees payable at this time are reduced from $250 to $50.

Lori,
Since Powers Blvd there is now closed for the next two years there will be no passers-by. There is no other public street within a
quarter of mile. So can we wave the sign fee?

Tim,
I do not typically process permit applications when they are received so I neglected to collect 2 required fees from you yesterday.
As indicated on the application and fee schedule, the total fees required for a wetland alteration permit are:
1. The wetland alteration permit fee ($275);
2. The fee for the sign that is posted on the property by the City to notify passers-by of the proposed project ($200); and
3. The filing fee for the wetland alteration permit ($50).
Since you paid the wetland alteration permit fee of $275 yesterday, the outstanding fees total $250. (An additional fee of $3.00
per address within the public hearing notification area will be invoiced to you prior to the public hearing.)
I am sorry that I did not catch this earlier. Please submit payment of the outstanding fees no later than September 8.
