known as Tiffany Prosen) had worked at the Recreation Center before going off
to college at BemidJi State. We welcome Tiffany back and are currently
working with a full staff.
Pro2rams
The winter programming season has begun. Pre-school Sports (basketball) and
Dance for Fun are showing good numbers consistent with last year. Other
Recreation Center programs are showing fair-to-good enrollments, also
consistent with .past years. The Recreation Center was the host site for the
annual Halloween .Party and the BreaKlast with ~anta events. .l:Sothevents were
well attended and ran smoothly.
Facility Notes
As the days shorten and weather gets colder, we are seeing more people in the
building for open gym and using the fitness room. The Monday night basketball
league has been running since Se.ptember. The fall league will be wrapping up
with the playoffs starting December 4. Room rentals have been fairly steady
and demand for rental space heading into 2007 is consistent with past years.
The Joint Powers meeting with representatives from District 112 and the City of
Chanhassen was held at the Recreation Center this past October. As can be
The City of Chanhassen . A growing community with clean lakes, quality schools, a charming downtown, thriving businesses, winding trails, and beautiful parks. A great place to live, work, and play.
